Summer is HERE and I have something for you🌞

~June Update~

Hello Sweet Soul,

Thanks for being here and reading this message. I write to you from a new yet familiar place: back in my childhood home for a moment of recalibration.

Though the heaviness of owning a home, being a landlord, and hustling to pay the bills is now over, I'd be remiss to say there weren't parts of it that I enjoyed.

I loved providing housing for women in need and watching them reinvent themselves.

I loved being responsible for something tangible that created a sense of urgency and motivation to provide for myself.

I am thoroughly impressed with what I accomplished, and the lack of longing for my previous life makes it abundantly clear that it was the right decision.

As humans, it is natural to seek the next best "thing" —

a sign of the "I'll be happy when..." syndrome.

There will always be something the mind tries to create a "problem" out of, holding the carrot of what is perceived as being

"out there", that one can fantasize about.

To me, this is an invitation to sit with the discomfort and allow the peace, the bliss, the acceptance to wash over me without a single ego-driven change needing to occur.

To really question: What is the deeper desire here?

Do I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that I don't already have that sensation available to me in this very moment?

That the freedom I'm seeking from the money isn't already here?

That the love I'm seeking from the relationship isn't already alive in my cells?

That the connection I'm seeking from a like-minded community isn't at my fingertips?

Perhaps there is nowhere to go but to be fully present with what is here now.

I'd like to invite you to sit in this with me at the end of the month for the first Floating Sound Bath.

We open with somatic movement to awaken the fire element 🔥 the energy alive in all of us during this summer season. From there, we'll move into the floating sound bath, which will have guided breath, meditation, and sound healing woven in throughout the session.

You will be held by the elements. Held by sound. Held by your own brilliant heart and blissful body.

You'll leave feeling renewed, connected, and at peace.
